3. Thanks and it's free, too
There are several quit meters on the web. I picked that one because I can send people links to it and it will have the up to date information on it.

2. My dear Droopy!
Biggo congrats!

That looks like an excellent tool to help you quit!

I've bookmarked it so I can peek over your shoulder now and then...

Hope that's OK!

Keep up the good ...or should I say...excellent work, sweetie!

Great work to be smoke free for over a year. I hope I can say the same thing this time next year. I'm quitting cold turkey. How did you quit?

9. Used Wellbutrin...
and lots of sugar free hard candy

and believe it or not I had rubber bands around my right hand, the one I use to smoke with
and snapped them when I had a craving... at one point I had 10 rubber bands on my wrist, LOL

8. Thanks, aA
I already feel a lot better about myself, but I know I've got a little ways to go yet before I get out of the withdrawl phase. One day at a time, I guess.

10. I am really impressed with this. I need to stop, tried Commit and it
really did nothing. The rubber band and the hard candy will be my next tool to use. Thanks for posting this...

11. Here's an excellent link for you, monmouth
http://whyquit.com/joel/

There is a wealth of information on that site about quitting smoking and why quitting cold turkey is the best way to go. There are several instructional videos of anti-smoking advocate Joel Spitzer, plus he has included his book on the site. Everything there is free. Check it out.
