2. Yes it is, thank you!
I swim, so I don't want to see what pool chemicals would do to colored or otherwise processed hair :scared:

3. I have a question for you...regarding swimming
Do you use any special shampoo? My daughter is going to be on a swim team this summer and swimming 5-6 days a week, and I do not want her hair to get all brassy looking.

4. I haven't been using anything special, no
just have her at least rinse her hair, if not shampoo, after practice.

Today I did buy some 'clarifying spray' pre-shampoo stuff (by Enjoy Haircare) to get chlorine and minerals out of hair. I'll report back on how it works.

5. Another question - where do you find bargains on competitive suits
I want to pick her up a couple of practice suits.

6. Sale bin at Conejo Swimworks
 Since aquatics is huge all over SoCal, there may be a speciality swimshop with a sale bin near you.

You might want to poke around online. I recall seeing a few sites that sell practice suits inexpensively. Thing is, fit is supreme, so it's better to try it on in the shop.

9. try Costco, our local store had a table full of Speedos this week. I have to
go to the expensive store to try on for sizing then can go to Costco and buy cheap.

they also had a bin of twin pack yoga pants for $15 really soft French Laundry stuff

11. There is also shampoo made for this...
Pretty sure you can get it at the major drug stores. It has swimming in the name of it, but I've forgotten what it was called.

18. Oh yes, Malvin the Hairdresser Direct from Beverly Hills
to my suburban enclave did a bang-up job. Awesome.

I doubt I can reproduce this at home. I am the Ray Rayner of hair styling. Those of you who grew up in Chicago in the 60s and 70s will know what I mean.

15. I kinda needed it
I'm having romance problems, the last of my father's brothers died this weekend, and I ran 16 miles in the heat the day before. I was completely out of gas.
