1. Yes, $149.00 is too much to spend on a shirt IMO.
But if you really like it, get it.

2. It has a lot of stitching on it. Sounds hard to believe, but it probably is worth it.

3. Depends...what does it do?
Is there a built in mp3 player? Does it do any type of calculations? Surf the internet?

the answer is NO. but i'd probably do it anyway. ;-) i've spent more on a meal.

150 bucks could feed a few starving kids. when you look at it that way...

5. Is it bullet-proof? Does it function as a life-preserver? Does it come with a
$100 dollar rebate?

If none of these are 'Yes,' then that's too much. (However, don't take my word for it - I'm what is technically referred to as a very sloppy dresser...)

6. If it makes you feel like a million bucks when you wear it,
fork over the $149.

7. Don't wear it when you eat...
...When I wear my nice stuff and I eat? It's just a simple fact that food will splatter all over it, and then it's either dry-cleaning, or else they say "Sorry, we can't fix this stain."

8. It's sharp, I must say...but I think that kind of money for anything that's
not a heavy-duty classic is excessive...but that's just me! Go for it if it makes you happy and you are able to :-)

15. Depends on the designer.
I wouldn't mind spending $149 on a shirt. Most of my dress shirts range from $200-$300 a piece so I know I'm buying good quality for the price.

If you don't have the money then I would wait, but if you have the funds, then feel free to buy what appeals to you.

16. Yes. It's much too much for that shirt.
You can easily find a better shirt at Macy's or any department store for half the price. You could buy a better shirt AND have it tailored for less than $149 + tax.

Never ever ever pay full price.

:headbang: if it was 40 or 50 bucks I mean, not $149. Maybe print the picture and put it on the wall a while and think about it.

30. Go for it
I've got a couple of baseball jerseys I've paid that much for (including a bitchin' replica 1942 Satchel Paige/Kansas City Monarchs jersey).

My mom used to say "pay yourself first." Meaning if you don't blow some inexcusable amount of money on yourself once in a while, what in the hell are you working for?

32. Um.. prolly not
The next $150 shirt i buy will be the first. But then I'm into that whole living simply thing. Not that I am not tempted by the occasional pretty, but I know what I'm about, and its not that. It would add no love to my life, and I would think of what else I could have accomplished with those resources every time I wore it.

But then, maybe its something you need. I don't know your circumstances. If so, do it with no hesitation.
