I don't go to Pep Boys any more. It's not worth my time.

I drive a third-generation Honda Accord--a car they built brazillions of, and one this area is thick with. I can barely buy oil for this car at Pep Boys...but I can get anything I could ever want for a Firebird or a Camaro.

So yeah, you should find big stacks of Firebird bras at Pep Boys.

You know, my boyfriend found that same one on Ebay the other day.....but here's the problem:

When you go to order it, it starts by asking you the make and model, so I typed in: Pontiac Firebird

It then asks you what year, so I typed: 1992

Then it asks if it's a Standard, Formula, or TransAM. And herein lies the problem:

I bought it in 2002. By then, it was 10 years old, but low miles and mint condition. I decided to do a search on the VIN# to see if there was any information on it. The search results claim that my Firebird is a Formula. Huh.

It's a 305 8 cylinder. It's got the hood of a standard....but it's got the wheels of a Formula. It also had something else different about it that would make it a Formula, but I don't remember. If she had a 350, I wouldn't even question the VIN report, but she doesn't. She's got alot of kick, though. :)

Anyway, the next question it asks is if the Firebird in question has the "aero package" or not. Shit - I have no idea.

I guess I have some researching to do.
