My kittehs thought 3am was the ideal time to play today
So I wake up cause I feel something heavy on my back. The first thing I see is a cat toy in front of my nose..Then I realize that the heaviness on my back is a kitteh..my BIG kitteh, Smokie. As soon as this registers, I feel a plucking at my feet...its my other kitteh, Sophie!
I have no idea what flea got in their feline brains that it was time to get up and play with them..but they were awfully persistant. Smokie kept walking all over me, crossing from side to side as I turned over to get away from them, Sophie kept clawing at my feet..Suffice it to say this went on for about 30 minutes before they finally stopped bothering me...Cats. Its really like having permanent two year olds sometimes...:eyes:

Then anything goes, at least until they have been fed!

The house belongs to them. You're just around to open the cans.

7. My cats know better to wake me up but.....
I'm getting to that age where a trip to the bathroom in the middle of the night is not uncommon ESPECIALLY since I've been trying to drink more water.

Evita will only let me play with her when I'm on the bed. If I'm sleeping on my left side (towards the window) then she jumps on the bed with the assumption that this is her time. Usually it's right before I go to sleep at night, which 15 minutes of petting a cat can be calming (ok that doesn't sound PG rated). But now at 3am in the morning she expects this again even though I'm really tired and just want some sleep

UGH!

9. One of my kitties
loves to sit on the pillow above my head and sniff my eyelashes in an effort to get me to open my eyes!! If he gets no response he resorts to licking my lashes to jolt me awake. Works every time!!! Yuck. Unfortunately, cats are nocturnal and we are not. Meow.

10. Mine sit on me when they want to be fed in the morning. They don't
know that it just makes me feel more cozy. They are not smart cats.
