Kitchen Gadgets
I got a new gadget yesterday:

It's a toaster and does eggs. It has a little tray for heating up like Canadian bacon. And it's programmed so that if you're using the toaster and egg thing together, it finishes at the same time.

:)

What's your favorite kitchen gadget?

3. It is teh awesome.
I got some of the matching mixing bowls and I like them a lot. They're sturdy and they don't slide around on the counter.

5. What kind of surface is your kitchen counter?
I have the 3x3 tile countertop... a royal PITA but we cannot afford to replace it at this point.

7. OOOH, even with the grout thing that might work...
I bought a pub table (42 inch high - I am really tall) just so I could have a decent work surface in my kitchen. It resides in my breakfast nook.

8. That is SO COOL.
WANT.

I actually have a toaster-microwave combo, but they don't work at the same time, and the main advantage is space-saving (which is good.) I don't have much else in the way of gadgets. My mom got me a self-driven electric can opener. That's pretty much it. But I totally want a Kitchen Aid mixer. Is that a gadget or just sort of the Queen of mixers? :D

9. Queen of Mixers
I got the toaster/egg thingy at Target yesterday for $30. :)

I was getting tired of oatmeal for breakfast everyday, I can only change up the fruit so much. I threw an English muffin, egg and a slice of Canadian bacon in it while I got ready today and it was done when I was ready to leave. mmmm, breakfast sandwich!

You can catch the mixer on sale with some pretty good deals. My mom bought mine for me during a pre-Christmas sale at Kohls.

14. Lately, my salad spinner...
B/c I eat a ridiculous amount of spinach, and hate washing and drying it by hand, esp. when I'm making Spanikopita.

After that, my potato ricer and my food processor (makes the BEST guac!)

:hi:

15. Salad spinner is surprisingly one gadget I do not own
And I eat a lot of salad, you'd think I'd invest in one.

I also love my rice cooker.
