First Love found on facebook. Help? Friends?

This will sound childish and stupid and I welcome your condemnatory comments BUT I googled the name of my first love of 21 years ago, and found he has a page on facebook. I too have a page on facebook but have never done anything with it. Anyhow, I sent him a message asking if he was the same person I know he is. Now I'm mildly concerned that he'll click on my page and see that I have no friends whatsoever (I don't) and maybe he'll think I'm stalking him or something. Are there any facebook users here who will befriend me?

I'm strangely thrilled to have found this man. It's like catching a piece of my past when my future seems uncertain. Anyhow, cheers all. -Lisa

6. My first love just recently found me

and sent me a message. It was thrilling.

He was a forbidden love as my father was a fundie with racial hangups and my first love was latino.

I have answered him, we email each other. I don't see anything happening here, because I am just not interested in a relationship, however, it has been exciting to just find out what has been going on with him all these years.

I'm watching "Lone Star" right now, and it's partly about a couple rekindling their high school romance. Okay, not much of a coincidence, really, but I'm bored, so it's this or arguing in GD:P.

My first love looked me up a couple years ago. It was nice--I wasn't creeped out. In fact, I was a little upset that she played it so cautious at first. Nothing happened, but it was fun pretending it might. And we both got to admit to each other stuff we didn't admit back then.

Go for it, child! Embrace your past, and your future! Live! A life lived in fear is a life half-lived! Fill in your own cliche! (for the record, I always give advice like that and never take it. :( )

But yeah, that's it. I found a both the facebook page and a pic while searching images. I can tell the lone picture is him, but I'm not totally sure about the pic on facebook. At least now I don't look like I built up my page just for him, though that's exactly what I've done.
