Question about the Mali Uromastyx we bought a while back |
|
Does anyone here know how long those things live? The guy at the pet store said its lifespan could be about 15 years. But I have seen on the Web that it could live 20-30 years (yikes!).
Don't get me wrong... I've gotten quite attached to the thing (the kid named it Oscar). But do I want to be feeding it when I'm 70? I think not. If it lives that long, it's moving out when the kid does!

I have a 6-year old sulcata tortoise - average lifespan 80 years.
I always say I'm leaving it to my least favorite niece or nephew.

5. I thought about getting either a tortoise or something like that that's really long-lived. |
