To go, or not to go, that is the question. |
|
I am sitting here all alone, at home and was thinking about going to get a beer, should I go or not?
I don't have to worry about driving, I can walk the 3 blocks there and back.

1. Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to hang out in teh Lounge, or to take up ales on a seat of a tavern. |

You are doing the environment and the workers a solid by purchasing the aforementioned Fat Tire.

8. It's an easy habit to get into |
|
I moved to 3 blocks from many establishments, and have spent a bit too much time and money in them so I've stopped for hopefully a long while.
But, if it's warm, get out there and put down a few.

you are sitting on a stool three blocks away from home. If not....get the hell out of there! Don't you know there could be terraists in your building????? Everyone knows the safest place in the country to be in times of trouble are at the corner bar.
Jeez. Like I really had to say this!

I had 2 beers, but I was there all alone in a bar packed with a bunch of people in their own groups. I sat at the bar, drank my beer, talked to the waitresses that already know me by name and watched the Twins play Detroit. But it was so boring, I just came home.
I guess I really am old...none of my friends want to go get a beer on a wednesday night. Back in college, wednesday was Dollar Draft night at the local pub. You can guess where I was...
if you guessed stuffing dollar bills in the waitresses bra straps, you guessed right. :P (yes, I knew her, very well as a matter of fact)
but now, not a single person I know wanted to go out. Jobs and Significant Others/Families are a real downer...
