I want my ignore back!

1. I want my avatar (and everyone else's) back!

I haven't been here long enough to fully appreciate the ignore function, but can understand how it could be missed.

So, what exactly is the alternative to not giving up those "minor" features with the additional site traffic, anyweigh?

2. The alternative would be that the site would be very slooooooow.

So I understand why the admins turn off features such as avatars, sig lines, and the ignore feature.

Still, life in GD-Pee is a bit more bearable when I can ignore certain people.

3. There's only one forum that I "might" use it

and that's in the Environment/Energy forum, but I don't like seeing "holes" in threads, even if the poster is likely ignored by most ;)

So, we get everything back after the end of the year?

Clinton and Obama were debating in Philly, and the two moderators were absolutely atrocious. Worst. Debate. Ever. in many people's opinions.
