Daniel Craig says that James Bond should become bisexual
Edited on Thu Apr-17-08 08:46 AM by terrya
A sex scene between Daniel Craig and, oh, say, Jonathan Rhys Meyers? Fuck, I'd RUN to the theater to see that.

According to The Daily Star, British actor Daniel Craig says it wouldn't be a bad idea if James Bond became bisexual because Craig says he's got a big gay following.

Unfortunately, considering today's date, we are afraid this story probably have to be filed under the "wishful thinking" category.

The Daily Star writes:

"James Bond star Daniel Craig has stunned fans by saying the secret agent should be bisexual. He wants movie bosses to "modernise" 007 by letting him swing both ways. That would see the suave spy being chased by girls and boys.

2. I like Daniel Craig. Just from what I've seen, he seems like a good leftie.
And he is an incredible Bond. I think if he makes a few more good Bond films, the CW that Connery is, like, the best Bond, ev-ER, will be seriously weakened.

8. Seems like a real departure for that character.
He's supposed to be some kind of uber-masculine, womanizing throw-back.

10. Maybe, maybe not.
I once read a discussion of his particular style of womanizing behavior that concluded that his attitude was motivated by a deep hatred of and contempt for women. Even allowing that the pre-Dalton films were from a different time and mindset, I can hardly watch any of them because of their overt and sickening sexism. To his credit, Moore himself has expressed retroactive disgust at how the character was written.

I don't know if that necessarily means that Bond might be bisexual, but why not? After Casion Royale, I'm willing to take Craig's opinion as definitive, at least for the character as he now stands.
