Poll question: Which of these football franchises would you rather see move to LA?
Some land developer unveiled an impressive plan on building a stadium 20 miles east of downtown w/o the use of taxpayer money, and said that it could be completed by 2011.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3351752

The article does not mention the Raiders, but I believe they'd be a potential candidate for a move.

I'd rather see the Jags or the Raiders move because I believe the rest of the franchises on the list are too anchored into their communities.

1. Raiders seem to be the obvious choice.
Besides, how many football teams does CA need?

6. The Raiders were well loved
They weren't any less supported than the Vikings are in Minny right now.

11. Been there...done that...
they went back to Oakland.

Jacksonville would be a better choice, I think.

7. Saints? NEVER!
Furthermore, should that dark day ever dawn, you will be required to change your DU name to just "Etienne17". :P

Those 69,502 other New Orleanians represent the people I care about. They represent the other New Orleanians that couldn't get to the game. I hope y'all get to visit the Sacredome this season.

I've seen a couple of people, sportswriters mostly, write good things about our city since Da Game. They say, rightfully, that we deserve our team, that our city is coming back, that the rebuilding is and should be progressing. And thanks to ourselves alone, it's happening....

They say everything possible to make us give up hope. Most, of course, know absolutely nothing about our town, but that doesn't keep them from proffering their expert opinions. The NFL rigged the game, Atlanta was in on the fix, Tagliabue arranged to buy 20,000 season tickets to make it look good, we're the luckiest 3-0 team in history, we won't make the playoffs, the NFL rigged the Reggie Bush draft, the crowd noise was piped in by ESPN, and other stuff. You can do some Googling to find this junk, 'cause I don't feel like giving these mooks any pub....

By the way, the Saints ain't moving to LA. It's the Jaguars.

Meanwhile, the Jags routinely cover over the top 10,000 or so seats at Alltel so they don't look quite so, y'know, empty on national regional TV. Even in good economic times, Jax is a stretch as a big-league market: pop. under 1 million, two other teams in the state. And in case you hadn't noticed, these are hardly good economic times...

16. No city NEEDS a football team
BUT, it would be nice for a franchise to move and develop in LA. I would love to go to NFL games in LA.

20. No city NEEDS to spend the half a billion dollars on an NFL stadium
There isn't a city out there that doesn't have better things to invest in.

10. If they're going to put a team back in LA it will be an expansion team, not a current team
Although it was stupid for the NFL to put a team in Jacksonville when they could've put it in a larger market like Baltimore in the mid 1990's. No NFL team will leave it's current home because the NFL is so freaking hot no region wants to give up their team.

17. The current conference/division structure is too perfect atm for only 1 team to be added
I don't think we'll see another expansion until college talent saturates the NFL and the NFL is ready to open two franchises at once again.

I think we'll see a team in LA before the NFL is ready to add two more franchises.

I live in DFW and can't stand them (Go Packers). It'll be a pleasure not seeing them on my tv every Sunday.
