You are more than entitled to whine!
I'd say you have plenty to bitch about too...
Of course you're fed up!
OK...now you need to settle down, and consider some things...
First, if your new doctor had felt that things were really really bad, he would have hospitalized you in a second.
But he didn't.
Try to take some comfort from that, if you can...
Take the long view, if possible...
I'm here for you, OK?
No sense worrying about things you have no control over, now is there?
I do understand!

2. Are you very sure this new doctor is right and the previous |

doctors were wrong? :(
I'm very, very sorry you deal with all of this. I know what it's like to have so many layers of stuff going on all the time, and to constantly see lots of doctors, and go for more and more and more tests, and to never see any real progress. x(
Please hang on, and do what you can do deal with the anxiety first and foremost. If you can do that, then you've got a good chance of dealing with all the rest.

You've been through the mill! Seems like that misdiagnosis is worthy of legal action.
Aren't there some DUers in your area that might be able to lend a hand?:hug::hug:

4. Look. That sounds like a real nightmare. |
|
I hope at the very least you find some relief for this and can get some really good people to look at your condition. Right now that and the panic sound like a self-perpetuating cycle. I know very well what panic attacks are like.
I'm sorry to hear you're going through this.

I was just about ready to go to bed, saw your post, and felt compelled to respond.
First, I am really sorry for all this crap you are going through. Speaking as a person who knows, you need to realize that major depressive disorder will fuck you up physically. It will exasperate every problem that you have in your body, and make it worse, or at least make it feel worse.
That being said, I want you to do what you have to do to take care of yourself. I don't know how to make the panic go away. Major depression is treatable, anxiety is treatable...everything you have is treatable, but it doesn't really help you to hear that when you are anxious....because no words can make it go away.
So what I will do here is at least offer you some compassion and support.
Fuck work. Do what you have to do to get by there, and that is it. Your boss is not going to take care of your health...YOU are though.
You can live a lifestyle that will put you at a lower risk for your heart problem. You can eat well. You may be able to exercise if your doctor says so. Do all of the positive things that you can.
Take care of yourself Roy, please. If you are alone, so be it. You have the power to take care of yourself. Don't feel like you have to jump through hoops and perform miracles. Just do the best you can do, and you will be alright.
