2. LOL in the last picture the cats are fat.
:hi:

I didn't know it either, but I'm glad she waited. We were in an okay position for fostering another litter by the time she went on the prowl.

But we knew immediately... one night she sauntered through the cat door smoking a cigarette. I expected her to sing "Oh, sweet mystery of life, at last I've found thee..."

What's Mildred's story? :) that's a really funny pic of her, like "I am just. too. Cool."

4. Mildred was feral.
I'm not sure how she first got into the house. Either she figured out the cat door, or we coaxed her in on a rainy day so she could eat.

Either way, she started to explore, and one day she stayed for a while. I started to try to tame her by dangling my necklace. She was very shy but she started playing with it from the floor, then she jumped up on the arm of my chair, and soon she was in my lap. Then she was ours.

Rather - we were hers.

Long story short, she came in one day and said, "it's warm in here . . . safe . . . and the food's better . . . nice gig."

:)

I love that picture of her.
