I have an 'invisible' splinter... it's driving me crazy!! |
|
Edited on Fri Apr-18-08 05:06 PM by Breeze54
:grr:
I think it may be fiberglass and I'm trying to think
of where the hell I was near any fiberglass today.
It hurts but I can't see it to remove it. :argh: !!

go to cvs, etc. and get veet. it's wax on strips. rub a sheet b/t your hands until it warms up, separate the two halves (the other one will be a pain to put somewhere so that it doesn't stick so plan for that) and put one of the wax strips along your foot where it hurts. gently make sure you've got some contact, hold onto one end of the sheet and quickly pull up the other end. you should be able to remove the splinter that way.

4. I don't have any but I'll get some...it's my in index finger. |
|
:(
I used to get them when I worked for Date General and Digital but that's been years ago.
I had some on my face/chin, when I worked there. I'd put the PCB I was repairing against my face.
I learned not to do that after a few of those. They hurt! Thanks for the advice. ;)

5. Soak it in really hot water and Epsom Salt for a while. |
|
If you don't have the Epsom Salt, just try this soak with hot water. Then pat it dry. Make sure it is completely dry. Apply a piece of scotch tape and pull. I hope this will help. Good luck!!!

and I think I got it!! :woohoo: It looks like a white piece
of something hard and it's standing straight up on the tape!!
THANK YOU! :D Relief!!!
