I'd love to spend a little money, but |

I can't find any shoes that I can work in and other clothes look like crap. When are retailers going to figure out that 4-inch spike heels don't work for someone who acutally has to work on their feet and walk back and forth all day long? When are they going to figure out that open-toes shoes and flip-flop styles are ridiculous for people who work on rainy days? Then there are the maternity-style tops and 3/4-length sleeves on jackets.... Guess I'll have to just dress retro for a while.

Finding shoes for work is a major quest for me. I usually wear skechers, but I want something cute for summer to wear with capris. I can't find anything comfortable.
The tops are hideous. And how about all those ugly swirly prints in nylon polyester fabrics? I wore those in the 1970s and don't want to wear them again. How about something that breathes?
I work in a non-AC environment (schools).... and I don't want anything tight or low-cut, either! Is that too much to ask?
No wonder retail is going belly-up!
