My school's doing the
Day of Silence, and me being the gay-straight alliance president, I'm organizing the event. We're giving out black ribbons in memory of Lawrence King, and apparently, almost all 175 staff members at my school will be wearing them. Plus, I need to make them for all the student participants in the day of silence - about 50, I think, possibly more.
It's lovely that so many people are getting involved. What's not lovely is the fact that I have to assemble all the ribbons by hand! This idea was just brought forth a few days ago, so I didn't have much time.
Next year, I am ordering them in bulk. Off the internet. There's no time for that this year, though.
