Broadway theater installs infrared devices to prevent pics of Daniel "Harry Potter" Radcliffe's unit
Harry Potter Gives Theatergoers the Shaft

If you're hoping to score tickets to Daniel Radcliffe's Broadway debut in "Equus" and snap a picture of young Harry's joy stick, think again.

This summer Daniel hits the stage in NY to play the lead role of a teen boy who likes to give it to animals-horses to be exact. Young Harry is a big boy now as is evident when he appears naked on stage for an extended length of time.

Getting a close up view of the growing wizards mystical package will cost you and theater producers want to make sure no one gets a peek for free according to the NY Post. Increased security will be added to the theater and infrared devices will be installed so mesmerized girls can't snap a keepsake shot.

1. Isn't it too late, since pictures from his London performances are easy to find on the Internet?

2. I think they want to "stem the tide" of photos of his stem, so to speak.
Yes, anyone who'd even remotely want to see it has already seen it. I think it's a matter of closing the barn door after the cow's already bid a hasty retreat.

6. The problem is,
he was under the age of 18 at the time the picture(s) were taken, so the legality of posting them is questionable. Another forum I visit from time to time refused to allow them to be posted or even a link to them. Even now that he's over 18, it's still questionable whether it is legal to post them. If you search around enough you will find at least one. I have seen it once and it was a black-and-white photo of him in front of a horse. It looked real enough to me that I don't believe it was a Photoshop fake. Frankly, it was no big thang.

7. Eek! Okay, never mind. I didn't know how young he is.
I was asking in jest anyway as I'm on such a slow dial-up, getting any picture to load is a major chore and if it's too big, there's a crash.

8. The one you're talking about IS a fake
a good one, though. I've seen a discussion of it, showing the original it was taken from.

5. No, I don't think so
there was a sort of famous publicity photo going around, but that was a fake.

4. That's awful. Both because thinking about HP naked isn't something I want to do, and because
it wrecks "Equus"! WTF? I've already read "Equus," but if I hadn't, I'd be kinda irritated.

10. This is just so funny
I'm old enough to be his grandmother at this point in my life, and thinking about Harry Potter being naked is one of those things that sets my brain nearly apoplexic!

11. Would you swap your 50" plasma TV for it?
