I don't know too many women who set their hair anymore. Don't know any men who do it, either. :P
I now do it because my hair gets really frizzy if I just let it dry. It doesn't matter when my hair was short, but now that it's long again, it just helps to take the time to roll curlers.
Anyone else do it? Or will I get dead air on this question? (Or is that dead "hair?" :))
