So if I rip a CD to windows media (default player),can I move it to itunes when I switch to itunes?

So if I rip a CD to windows media (default player),can I move it to itunes when I switch to itunes?
I am a bit of a music dl newbie. I am sure I will end up ith itunes player but have not set t up yet. Any advice would be appreciated.

1. Why not just go download iTunes
and use that?

or do you already have a lot of music in WMA format?

2. Not directly.
You can convert .wma files to .mp3, but you're better off importing directly into iTunes.
