1. I enjoy both actually
I think a 1-0 game can be just as interesting as a 12-11 game.

2. I voted for option 2, but with explanation:
On tv, I think I sometimes prefer to watch the pitchers fight it out while the tension builds and builds. If I'm actually at a game, which I think is better, I want to see some hits, damn it!

22. Damn straight.
I can watch a no hitter on TV. But if I'm at the game, spending 40 bucks on dogs and drinks, I want offense, man.

4. After being pasted to the TV watching Gibson and McLain in '68.
I have to go for the first option. But what really thrills is seeing a pitcher at the top of his game finally get solved with a few well-placed hits, and those fatal mistakes pitchers and fielders sometimes make.

5. When I was 9 and first became a fan
a Dodgers rally consisted of Maury Wills dragging a bunt and beating it out (or chopping one so high he was across first by the time it came down), stealing second and third and scoring on a fly ball by Junior Gilliam.

So, you tell me. :D

7. A well-executed hit-and-run,
a double steal, a squeeze, a drag bunt... these things move me to tears.

10. Mmmm... could be
It'd depend on who's playing, at what point in the season and, especially, what kind of game it is.

If it's August or September and the Dodgers are in the chase, I pace and mumble strategy to myself if the game's close. :D

8. Somewhere in between
A few runs scored, and some moments where a pitcher is in troubles but battles his way out.

11. Impossible to choose.
I love the way baseball builds over the season. I love those extra inning games and I love the shut out. I love to see men in tight pants exerting themselves. I just love baseball.

12. Slugfest
I am one of the few who miss the steroids era. What I would do for McGwire and Sosa to hit 70 and 66 again...

17. Slugfest for sure.
If I want to watch baseball with no offense, my nephew's little league team will do just fine.

19. Both.
With the Bosox showing premier pitching expertise while the offensive lineup goes yard all day long.

20. Give me a pitchers duel every time
Preferably with MY pitcher being a strikeout pitcher. There is nothing finer than watching a pitcher strike out a side and to have the other team completely befuddled at the plate all day. What's sweet as well is a closer who is automatic, and a set up guy who can bring the heat for an inning, making the game essentially a 7 inning affair.

I saw José Jiménez (a rookie for the Cards) throw a no-no against Randy Johnson and the D-backs, winning the game 1-0. Johnson threw a 2 hitter. THAT was a game! :D
