Logjam remedy: Fill your floor cleaning bucket with warm (not hot) water and a little hand dishwashing liquid. Pour the water into the bowl quickly from about waist height. If you're lucky, this will release the jam right away. If not, close lid and walk away for about 15 minutes, then repeat. If you don't see evidence that the jam is gone after the second try, give up until you have a new plunger.
