Mmmmm! Dinner!
We had stirfry with asparagus, onion, baby bellas, orange and red peppers in a sauce made from tamari, vinegar, a pinch of brown sugar, minced garlic and ginger, red pepper flakes, and five spice powder over whole wheat pasta.

What did you have or are you having? :hi:

16. Much like turkey, it is
very, very lean and tons less fat than beef. He made a deer meatloaf once back when we were first married. I'm thinkin' I may let him back in the kitchen once in a while. ;)

Glad your sis cooks good stuff for you, coz you are too cute to allow to starve. LOL

29. It's a glaze recipe the uses brown sugar and, I think, butter.
I'm in the midst of dying my hair right now, so no time to Google it! Time is of the essence!

But it has to be very hot when you apply it to the grilled salmon, because it turns hard quickly. It's delicious!!!

33. Here ya go:
http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Sweet-and-Tangy-Glazed-Salmon/Detail.aspx

INGREDIENTS
6 tablespoons butter
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
4 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 1/4 teaspoons dried dill weed
3/4 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
1 pound salmon fillets, with skin
lemon pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS
Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat.
Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat, and mix in the brown sugar, lemon juice, dill, and cayenne pepper. Cook and stir until the brown sugar is dissolved. Reduce heat and simmer until ready to brush onto the salmon.
Season salmon with lemon pepper, and place directly on the grill grate, skin side down. Brushing frequently with the butter and brown sugar glaze, cook the salmon 20 minutes, or until easily flaked with a fork. Reserve some of the glaze for serving.

37. Ooooh! I might try that too next time!
I forgot to mention that I have to make the sissy version without the cayenne pepper, so I sprinkle that on my own salmon patty when it's ready to serve.

I also make a dynamite HOT Potato soup that includes cayenne pepper. But I have to split it into two separate pots - one for the sissy's, and one for me that includes cayenne pepper, and chopped dry red peppers. Makes your nose and face and ears sweat, but it's delish. I love hot stuff.

Serious warning though, It's just as hot coming out as it is going in. LOL! Not for the faint of heart.

where a favorite Thai place is involved. Probably a new one since I lived there. I used to love, love, love Thai Village on Goodale but I know it's long gone. Closed not long before I left Columbus, I believe.

Enjoy! :hi:

It is actually a lemon pudding cake which I discovered when baked in a deep dish instead of a flat one becomes a souffle.
