OMG, I am soooo glad I am not a Top Chef contestant this go around. |
|
For one thing, it's in ... (deleted) Chicago. And most of you know what I think of Chicago.
Then, on the episode I'm watching now (last week's? I'm not sure) they have to cook for a tailgate party at a Bears game.
Seriously, whatever my opinion of Chicago is, my opinion of Bears fans is even worse.
And who was that obnoxious bitch who did the immunity challenge judging? Jesus, she reminded me of every FIB on vacation I've ever encountered.
If I were doing this challenge, I'd be like "Hey, Tom (Calichio? Caliccio?), I figured - these are Bears fans, we're in Chicago, I just got 600 pounds of bacon which I've deep fried and then soaked in cheap shitty beer and will serve in a giant bun with asphalt granules, and as they eat it I'll punch them in the stomach yelling 'GO FRIDGE!!!!' or 'GO MCMAHON!!!!' and they'll grunt in humorous pleasure and then I'll serve them desert, which is a fatty hot-cross-bun on which I've printed a grainy, out of focus, underexposed picture of a diseased toothy Filipina poledancer".

1. Uh... I live in Chicago. Can take or leave the Bears but geez. |
|
Say what you will about Chicago but it's a fantastic food town. And no, I don't mean bratwursts and cheap beer.

2. Well, after some ... mishaps... here on DU, I promised never to castigate Chicago again |
|
I felt the need to offer some commentary, however, this time, about Top Chef, and did, in my opinion, a damned fine job of censoring myself and remaining positive and non-judgmental in my post.

7. He actually is pretty cool. I met him and his wife at the mall one time a few years back. I think he |
|
was playing for the Eagles back then. Funny thing is, he's so huge, and I think I was the only one that knew it was him. I just went up shook his hand and asked him how he was doing, chatted for a few and that was that. Memories......misty colored memories......

Hence my implication that they'd get off on cheap, tasteless Filipina porn.
