3. They're all from the Coastal Trail,

some distance from the airport. We picked the trail up at Lyn Ary Park and walked down to Westchester Lagoon on this particular evening, so we were going towards downtown and away from the airport.

Oh, these are wonderful...

I love the look of the mountains, and the snow, and the water...

I thought the "Bridges to Nowhere" were dead ideas... :shrug:

4. It is pretty much dead...

but they still have some "Knik Arm Bridge Authority" something something, acronym KABATA, who are all drawing hefty salaries for doing nothing. It's a boondoggle, of course. I'll really be surprised if a bridge is built in my lifetime, unless the economy changes radically. It would be a massive project with very little benefit.
