Need help from DOG EXPERTS PLEASE!!!
I took my dog to the vet because she seemed to be in pain and he said she probably had a slipped disk and gave her an injection of something and another injection for immediate relief of pain. When we got home she would not and will not get out of the car. I first tried to pull her out and remembered her problem so stopped that especially when she acted like she was going to bite me. It has been an hour and a half and I've left the car door standing open but she won't get out. I go out every few minutes and start the engine so the battery won't die. What can I do to get her out?

1. Help her into a crate or onto something sturdy.

Lift the crate or the box or the board or whatever you use. For goodness sake, don't put pressure on her body.

3. This is probably a question for your vet.
Your dog may not be able to walk or might be very numb or even "high" from the drugs. You can try using food/treats outside the car, but if she's either painful or numb she still may not budge.

Call your vet and ask. If your vet is closed, find your local emergency vet and call them. Be sure you have all the info on what shots your dog got, so they can help you out. They may insist on seeing her, but an office visit "cost" would be worth it.
