Just learned all this tonight, so I thought I'd share. My son loves "My Friends Tigger And Pooh," so imagine my surprise when I learned she was the vocalist on it.

5. Backup singer? She's more talented than that

She wrote all the original songs and did lead vocal for the Josie and the Pussycats movie. Say what you will about the movie (personally, I loved it for the boy-band parody alone), but the original songs really kicked ass! Right after I saw the movie I went out and bought the soundtrack, and it's a staple on my iPod.

Which is why two of the guys from American Hi-Fi are also in the Montana/Cyrus band. (The drummer/musical director is the lead singer of Hi-Fi. He recruited Hanley for the gig, having worked with her in Cleo.)
