The outrage continues! - PBR prices increase 100% over past 6 months |
|
A few months ago i posted here that i was really pissed over a $1 increase in PBR 6 packs. It was just an overnight thing, bam, it was $1 higher.
Now it has roughly doubled in price! Six months ago it was $3.79 for a 6 pack, now it's $6.79.
WTF? Thats more than your average domestics now! This trend is disturbing, i think all beers are headed for a steep increase in price.
By the way I stopped drinking PBR when it rose a dollar.
Who the hell is going to pay $6.79 for a six pack of PBR?? When I was in high school the 6 pack non-tall PBR was 2.50 at the same grocery store. (10 years ago)
Fuck gold, oil, and costco rice.....stock up on beer. We are heading for hard times, fellow beer drinkers. We are gonna have to start brewing ourselves.

and this is not just one isolated grocery store, this price is the same for the majority of a giant chain of grocery stores in texas. (my friends in different cities in texas reported to me the same price)

12. Someone tried to label me as a hipster when I ordered one the other day |
|
I thought it was especially strange because I was there in a sweater and Khaki pants. Not exactly the uniform.
Also it cost two dollars. I'm more of a cheapster.

I drink because I actually like it for a cheap American beer. Good thing I bought a cube two weeks ago.

is it actually "cool" to drink PBR in some places? Seriously? I thought you guys were just kidding about it.
We mostly drank PBR because it was the cheapest beer in the aisle.
