So, last night, I played bunco.

Won $20. Actually, we played LCR because only 10 people were there.

ANyhoo. My friend Kim goes to leave about 10ish, and starts out the front door and then runs back in screaming. Apparently, something flew by her and into the house and she thought it was a bat.

Turns out, that the hostess has a wreath on the front door and wrens have built a nest there. A wren flew in and landed in her back room. She and I spent about a half hour trying to encourage the wren out the door. Finally, it flew out.

It was pretty funny.

It was pretty funny. Another friend of mine had a bird build a nest in her wreath on the front door and one night her husband walked in with a bird on his head.

I'm still laughing about that one.

And, no wreaths on my front door. Gah.
