The recently-released new single of Weezer's next album. Supposedly, this song came about because the record label wanted Weezer to make music that was more mainstream, more acceptable and likable to the general public.

This is a GREAT song to listen to, to blast, to sing along with if you're feeling out of place, or feeling pressured to conform, or just feeling down.

4. i heard it on ktcl yesterday

it took me a bit to figure out it was weezer because some of it sounded kinda un-weezer-ish. but it's a great song, they've always been one of my favorite bands

5. Same here. They premiered it late last week and I liked it right away.

Some of their stuff has been a little... Unusual. But I've liked them for quite a while as well.

6. i'm living the dream of being unemployed

i'm finally remembering what it feels like to be a human being...after five years in corporate hell, it's kind of a weird feeling :P

looking for a job, enjoying the weather, trying to motivate myself to do some laundry

7. Ah... Feeling like a human being again... Good times!

I've been okay (the last couple of days were a little bit of emotional hell, but I'm in a better place now). Work is the way work is, which you know all too well. As for moving back to the People's Republic, tomorrow I will officially be back there! I'm half moved back already, and tomorrow we're moving the furniture out. :woohoo:

sorry things were rough there for a bit, but i'm glad things are getting better

9. S'okay. It was just a very interesting couple of days.

I found out that one of my best friends got engaged to his girlfriend, and of course I'm very happy for them both. It just helped to reinforce the idea that a number of my friends are getting married soon, and I'm still perpetually single.

10. i hear ya on that

i've got two friends getting married this summer and it's kind of weird to me. part of me feels like i should already be settled down, but i usually just tell that part to shut up :D
