It's a SMALL F'in World!!!
So my attorney calls me yesterday to tell me that she stood at the Deli at the grocery store and was having a conversation with a woman and they were talking about a lot of different things. Then she says she held out her hand and said "I'm ____ _____ by the way" and the woman said "the attorney?" and my attorney said "yes" and the woman said "you are representing my husband in our divorce" and my attorney said that the conversation ended. I kidded her and said, "yeah, you two are now conspiring to take me to the cleaners" lol, (it would be a short trip believe me) I also said to my stbx wife "I hear you met my attorney" and the conversation we had matched the story my attorney had. My attorney now also has to notify her attorney, but the good news (I think) is that instead of process servers or certified mail, my attorney is just going to ask her attorney to send the filing from her attorney to mine.

It's a small F'ing world isn't it?

:hi:

14. I haven't been to the deli in 3 years...
meat...ugh!
cheese...recovering cheese addict. (Yes, dairy is actually an addictive substance. Actually, it's the hormones which are addictive.)
people in white coats...remind me of the dentist.
other...oooohhhh! Souse loaf. :puke:

Remind me...what's so great about the deli?

That is pretty funny though. Small world indeed.

6. Yes it is ...
That's why you learn to keep your mouth closed to strangers... or anyone for that matter. Sorry you're going through this, SPK. Divorces are so hard. The hardest thing I've ever been through. Fortunately, we had a mediator and settled things without going to court or having attorney wars. Really, sometimes, it's just easier to say fuck it...you can have it.

I wish you the best.

10. In other words, you wind up getting billed for this accidental encounter.
I'm pleased that you're able to laugh about the matter, though.

Best wishes.

12. Lol
I better not get billed for this accidental encounter. I'm sure I'll get billed for her telling me about it because we discussed other issues as well.
