It snowed a bit in Anchorage yesterday, too... pix
We got anywhere from 18 inches to two feet around town, shattering the old one-day snow record for 4/26, which was .8 inches...

If I am too thin blooded for Minnesota I'm damn well too thin blooded for Alaska!! But I sure would love to visit in Summer...;-)

at your pictures, LaraMN. You ARE desperate. :)

We're predicted to be back up in the 50s within a couple of days, so I don't see this stuff lasting too long. It was just such a freak thing because a couple of days ago we were out working in the yard, checking out all the little perennials that are coming up, and thinking about getting the garden in. T-shirt weather, basically. You just never know what you're going to get around here.
