I wonder what you'd be thinking while being eaten by a shark |
|
I can't even imagine how scary it would be to be in the water and be close enough to see a shark. But to actually become lunch. Well, I guess that's the way a lot of animals die. At least its quick...

2. Probably the same thing you would think |

if you were about to get hit by a bus, or you were falling off a cliff or any other number of things that bring about a quick but probably painful death.
I think I would prefer it to a long, lingering illness. We don't get to choose how we go, though.

and how to not get bitten again. Most shark attacks on people resulting in death is from blood loss, not from being devoured I believe. People taste like shit to sharks, I'd imagine. Which is odd, considering they are the oceanic equivalent of the dumpster.

26. I'm not sure but I have an idea |
|
I once looked down, while snorkeling, and saw a baby shark about 5 feet below me and thought, "How cute, it's just a baby!" A nanosecond later I thought, "Mama can't be far behind, I need to get the hell out of the water." I was about 15 and with a friend and her much younger sister, who then began to panic (understandably) and splash around, sucking in water which is the opposite of what you should do. We had to grab her and swim her back to shore all while pretending we had it under control while crapping our own pants (GULP!).
I was very fortunate that I never met Mama; I can't imagine the horror the moment you feel the jaw clamp down, knowing if you got out alive you would likely be alive missing body parts and/or permanently changed and damaged.

I don't think sharks "raise" their young. Like most fish, they're born with all they need to go out into the world on their own.

Maybe more likely it would just one AHH! followed by a lot of gasping followed by one last Ohh...
I think in my mind it would just be a lot of repeated No!'s
Hopefully you'd quickly pass out from rapid blood loss and you'd never really realize what had happened. Of course if it was a small shark he'd take smaller bites and you could think.
Gee. This is a fun topic! :woohoo:
Just think, that would be your legacy. No matter what else you did, you'd always be the guy that got eaten by a shark. "Yeah, I remember him. He got eaten by a shark."

Like we do with our food. And the people die. So I'm gonna say the experience of being eaten by a shark and the experience of being bitten into two or more pieces by a shark are pretty close.
