Why we love living where we do(WA State) Pic Heavy!
We finally got a decent day here in Western Washington. So few lately. So we packed some fruit and water and headed to the hills. More spcifically east on I-90 to about milepost 34 and a park called Twin Falls. The weather was perfect, beautiful warm sunshine, nice spring/summer breeze to keep us cool and warm at the same time...we'll all sleep well tonight!

I call this Green Peace Tree

Heading back now...

Beautiful day!

2. Holy cow, Twin Falls is one of our regular hikes!
What great photos! And it looks like your family had a really nice day.

In case you've never given it a try, that water is icy, icy cold!

3. The dog and the boy tested the water
Sandy was fine with it...had a big ol' drink and my son said it was fffffrreeezzing!!!

But we did have a good time. A lot of people and dogs saying Hi to each other as we enjoyed the peace and quiet.
I think we managed about a 3 miles hike with some really good ups and downs to add to the intensity.

4. It looks beautiful, Tripper...
I love Western Washington. We drove your whole coastline a few years ago and up through Port Angeles and down to Seattle. It was absolutely gorgeous. I'm very envious today, looking out my window at a foot and a half of snow.

5. It really is..
and like I said to Mrs. Tripper, days like this, places like this is why I love living where I live.
I'm originally from Ontario Canada, and moved to Vancouver BC before moving to Seattle.
When I go back to Canada, I hope to move back to Victoria on Vancouver Island....nice way to go gently into that great night, as it were.

9. My dear Tripper11!
Oh, those are wonderful pics!

I'll bet the water was freezing and lovely to hear as it chattered over the stones...

I love your Green Peace tree!
