41. Dinner was OK. Kidlet just had that same fever stuff, too.

She had a horrible cough with it. Still has the cough--not as bad but still there. She missed three days of school with it and had a high enough fever that she went to the doc on day two. Creeped me out...

As for me--well I'm hanging in. There are some good days and some bad ones. I do find that I am completely unhinged by the little stuff that people do to be kind.

I told my office they all have to be assholes for the next 6 months so I won't cry anymore at work. So far it is working...

I hope they're assholes, if that helps, I guess. I'm glad you're doing okay. I remember the first few weeks after my mom's death. I became unhinged pretty easily, too.

I'm feeling better, but tired. I had been bragging that, even though I'd visited sick parishioners and gone in and out of hospitals, I hadn't gotten the nasty flu everyone else had. God was apparently not amused. So, I got smacked with it! A hard way to learn humility!!

My lawyer called me Thursday to tell me she had inadvertently met my stbx at the grocery store and they had talked until she introduced herself to her and then the conversation ceased. Small world. This week some things may start happening fast. Or at least moving forward at a rate I hope I'm ready to deal with.
