Inland it is worse.

It is still in the 80s in the house, with the windows open and the fans on.

I am still not turning the AC on though.

We did run the A/C today...

And it helps a lot...

We set it at 77, but the less humid air feels so good!

However, our electricity bill sucks...

5. Ah yes, those Santa Ana winds...

all of my male relatives, back to my grandfather, were firefighters, either CDF or NFS. Late in the summer those winds brought trouble.

8. It's 30 degrees out

It rained for two days straight, until it started snowing last night.

It cleared up finally a few hours ago.



It was 75 and very sunny this time last week.

I can remember helping my mother with the canning...always during the hot season...no air conditioning...moms do a lot out of love, when ya' come to think about it...
