How do I prevent spaces from getting stripped out of my posts? Often, I format a table of sorts and since I can't find a way to use tabs, I enter spaces. Then when I hit post, they get stripped out making my hard work disappear.

I know the lounge denizens are the smartest, most handsomest people on the planet, so I expect a quick response :)

does not recognize multiple spaces.

[font color=white]OOOOO[/font] works to insert 'white' space.

4. Type "&nbsp" without the quotes

for as many individual spaces as you'd like to add in. Separate them with a semi-colon.

Use enough Xs to make the space you want.

You can actually use any character or combination of characters to get your spacing perfect.

On DU, substitute square brackets for angle brackets.

8. You can paste in a tab, I think

Get notepad up, and put a tab--> in. Then copy it. Wherever you need a tab , paste it in.

Et... voila!

Of course, the tabs won't be displayed, but you'll know they're there.
(I only posted this to see if it would work, and it didn't). :(
