Transportation technology has not kept pace
with information technology. I demand that the world's leading nations immediately invest billions in research and development of a transportation infrastructure that will re-unite the world's lovelorn in an environmentally sustainable way! I will settle for nothing less!

1. I am with you!
I believe our solution lies in energy conservation and smarter people. We need more trains. Steam engines? Not forward but backward. With new and improved steam engines, speed could be over 100 mph.

As kids, and as adults playing with kids, we always invented a transportation system that used the rotation of the earth for propulsion.
