And my fortune said "Do not underestimate yourself. Many need your compassion and social skills right now."
So who needs a hug?

Tell him a guy on the internet has said a prayer for him.
You're nice to think of your uncle, but I'm sure you are feeling awfully sad too. So here's a hug for you-->
Take care of your uncle and yourself, LM.

Uncle needs the most support and care right now, so my prayers and support go to him right now.

4. Chinese buffets are EVIL |
|
Chinese food is all about textures, so taking good Chinese food out of a wok, then letting it simmer in a hot buffet tray for a long time is a terrible thing to do to it. It ruins all the textures and turns everything into mush, even if it's a fairly busy buffet.
Unfortunately, I can't say "no" to them because they're so much damn fun. Chinese buffets, Mexican/Tex-Mex buffets, and pizza buffets are a weakness of mine.

I'm a complete sucker for those steamed dumplings. My sodium count's probably through the roof right now.

5. Aw man, back when I used to live in Santa Cruz (CA), there was a Chinese buffet place downtown. |
|
Several times I went there and stuffed myself until I could barely walk.

17. Yeah, that's a classic. Great commentary on the role of the "artist," but |
|
still has the typical Kafka ambiguity.

I'm new here. Switched from a Repub. to Democrat last year. Whole danged family is Republican. I love them dearly but boy do I take the flack from them. Hard for me to not get nasty sometimes. So far so good. Just state the facts. So yup, I could use a hug.

with my family. It's hard, isn't it? I don't know what to tell you, however, b/c I think my WWII gen dad and my BIL are both remorseful about at least their second Bush vote. My sister, however, thinks Bush is doing God's work, I guess. That Obama is the Manchurian candidate.
Anyhow, a sincere welcome and a big ol'
Hang in there. Joy indeed.
