2. by September you are used to the heat?
I know that by mid summer, 80 degrees would feel cool to me here in Arkansas, but if it were 95 right now I'd feel like we were gonna burn up. In August 95 will feel about normal, not that it feels good (never have really gotten used to that heat) but it won't feel so hot. By September, 65 would feel cold, cold, cold

also, I really don't have another explanation

3. Acclimatization...
the technical term for what SPK is talking about.

I teach it frequently in Intro Physiology.

Here's a decent link

6. Maybe it's a Joisey thing
I had the heat turned off for several days because it was so warm out. Yesterday I was freezing, yet the temp inside was 68- felt like 58. And today I have it turned back on to 70, but I'm still chilly.

I guess we just got used to 80, real quick.
