Owing to production delays caused by the 2007-2008 Writers Guild strike, it has been reported that the fourth season will be split into two 10-episode pieces, the second part of which may air as late as 2009.

1. It can split as often as it wants, I'm starting to care less and less.

With the exception of one particular moment at the end of the episode that aired on the 19th, this season has bored the snot out of me. If they split the episodes like you described, I won't be tuning in for the second half.

"All shall be revealed" may be true, but if I've got to sit through 16 more episodes to learn whatever this staggering secret is, I think I'd rather just give up the show and read the imdb.com message board as soon as it ends. There can't possibly be enough secrets left to make 16 more episodes suspenseful.

Now if they do me a favor and just kill off Roslyn and Kara, my attitude might change. Those two make the show really tough to watch, especially as of late.

2. This is what I'm thinking

If they drag it out that much, they'll lose their audience. I found that last show mostly filler, and I thought there weren't going to be any 'fillers' this season.

I don't mind the characters changing, after all the Cylons are fighting amongst themselves, and so are the humans, and everything is up in the air.

But all that many more shows??

3. Yeah, I know about the delay.

It's no big deal, really. They split every season. This time the split will be a little longer than usual. *shrug* Still love the show.

5. I've heard and read a lot of people saying they hate this season

I only hate it because it's the end :'(

6. It's dragging on. I'm tired of the preachy god vs. gods shit.

Fuck you, give me back my space battles. Strap a nuke that constantly stage-whispering president and blow her out the airlock.

Ego has definitely affected the writing of this show. Guys, it's not ~that~ profound, just keep it simple like Season 1 and 2 and we'll love it like we did with Season 1 and 2.
