do a "get info" on your hard disc.

It'll pop up a window. In there there'll be an icon of your HD.

Click on the icon in that. you should see a highlight on (around) the icon picture.

Have an icon ready (I think mine are old OS 9 32x32. OSX can do better though) and paste it in!

That doesn't seem to do anything at all? Hit that puppy. Then open up a graphics program - like Paint - and choose the "paste" option. Le voilà. Now save it, and upload it to photobucket.
