2. Spaghetti. Lemon pound cake for dessert. |
|
The spaghetti wasn't that awesome (I didn't simmer the sauce long enough) but the cake is to die for.

8. By combining vegan cheese with feta, won't you reverse the culinary-space continuum or something? |
|
Sounds good, actually. I'm making crispy (and spicy) orange chicken stir fry, with lots of extra veggies (as if that'll make up for the breaded/fried chicken pieces--ha). Cobbled together courtesy of Trader Joe's.

|
we're trying to do the fat flush diet and it's one of the recipes. I don't normally like to prepare two separate dinners, but that's the deal for tonite.
I'd better get on it. Sigh.

17. Greek meatballs in yogurt sauce served with noodles. |
|
Not many meatballs but I added a lot of fava beans to give it some heft. The yogurt sauce broke (durn fat-free yogurt) but it had a good flavor.
Your pizza looked pretty good.

26. Terriyaki Chicken kebabs |
|
Served them with a yogurt dressed fruit salad and brussel sprouts in butter sauce. Kidlet got vanilla soy milk, hubby had skim cow milk, and I had water...
Tomorrow is sounding much better--chicken tacos with ho-made salsa, pinto beans and spinach salad (the kind that is completely bad for you with sunflower seeds, strawberries and bacon...)
Aren't we just the most boring people in the world? Just once I want to get on here and say we are eating herb crusted something with a reduction of some cool thing followed by a creame brulee...
