The little girls I sometimes babysit lost their stepdad this weekend.

Apparently he and their mom were doing, well, what daddies and mommies do once the kids finally go to bed, and at what can only be described as the worst possible moment, he said he had a cramp, and then collapsed. Once she figured out he wasn't joking, she called 911 and did cpr, but apparently he was gone by the time he hit the floor.

There will be an autopsy to figure out if he had a heart attack, or a stroke, or what. He was pretty young, only 42, but quite overweight, which would explain having heart trouble so young, if that's what it was.

The younger girl keeps telling her mom they have to go pick him up from the hospital now. :cry:
