What this with these phone surveys?

I swear, I had signed up for the do not call list, but some survey group identified on my caller ID as "Convergys Corporation" called me this evening asking me to do a survey about my shopping habits.

So when this call was winding up -- after about 8 minutes, the interviewer asks would I like to be called every three months for a survey. I asked, what would I get in return. The interviewer said she didn't understand what I wanted and I said, look I have just spent 8 minutes away from my family and you are asking me to give up my time for nothing? I declined to participate.


So I surf for Convergys and see they aren't doing too shabby:
