and completely sad. I'm encouraged when I find a conservative who isn't a dillweed. Ben Stein used to come across as an ascerbic social conservative who happened to come to different conclusions than me. Lately he's just flogging it for the cameras.
Is conservatism like a drug? At first the addict can seem rational, but then things turn ugly...

I would have accepted that had they limited it to Islam which has fallen far from its heyday. I'm speaking from my personal observations having worked in Saudi Arabia as an engineer. China and India seem to be quite vigorous technologically speaking.
