Anybody Here Seen An "Asia" Concert Since Their Reunion In '06? |
|
I saw them at a small club in Long Beach a couple of years ago. Great show, and such a treat seeing them in an intimate venue. A band who at the peak of their popularity, were playing 10,000-20,000 seat arenas & stadiums. So nice that their egos aren't bothered by this, and that unlike some groups(cough, cough....The Police), they enjoy putting out NEW MUSIC, and don't let their downsizing in popularity deter them from going out and playing smaller theatres.
I'm going again next week to their '08 finale in San Francisco. Already getting hooked on their new song, "An Extraordinary Life."

2. I have an old video tape of them |

During that brief period when Greg Lake was singing instead of John Wetton, reversing the John Wetton replaces Greg Lake trend of prog-rock.
Would not mind seeing them again.

3. I saw them on the first leg of the reunion tour, near Philadelphia. |

It was absolutely incredible. Geoff Downes is still a big dork around whom I could play rings, and Carl Palmer still can't keep a steady tempo to save his life, but those four guys together are absolutely amazing.
