Poll question: Do you think Homestar Runner will ever be a TV series???
http://www.homestarrunner.com

Do you think that maybe Comedy Central, Cartoon Network or FOX could someday write up a contract with Matt and Mike Chapman to produce 13 episodes (or more!!!) of Homestar Runner for a TV series??? Do you think that any of those networks would at least run a Homestar Runner test pilot???

HR probably sells more merchandise than 90 percent of cartoon shows out there, and definitely millions of people worldwide have seen the cartoons online already. Every single other message board I go to, there's plenty of members with Homestar-related avatars. I have Homsar (Homestar's retarded relative) as my avatar on another board myself. I'm just pissed at myself that I almost missed the boat. I only found about Homestar last July.

So I mean, the show probably already would have a loyal TV following. If they ran HR on Adult Swim every Sunday, I'd definitely watch it.

So what do you think could happen with the show in the future???

I think the bros chaps should write up a few cartoon shorts which could be shown on cartoon network, comedy central or something between shows, as a sort of test run.

3. South Park is animated by a sophisticated computer graphic program.
So then I think then that you could have a show transfered onto TV with a simple Macromedia Flash program pretty easy.

4. I don't know if it would work as a 30-minute show
Let's face it, they don't exactly hit a home run every time at the plate with their stuff. Maybe a 15-minute Adult Swim thing?

10. I'm not sure
There are a lot of characters that are a little uh.... well the poopsmith for instance, and the strong brothers :-)

It's fantastically funny, and man..... I want more Trogdor (the Burninator).

11. I've read interviews with the brothers Chaps..
..and talked to those who've met them. They don't want to make their stuff into a TV series due to the time constraints and what they view as a nearly inevitable loss of some creative control.

12. I don't know... It would make a perfect half-hour show IMO.

Also, think of the money it would make.
