Patrick Swayze preparing a final farewell ... NOOOOOOOOOOOO
London (ANI): Dirty Dancing legend Patrick Swayze has reportedly readied his will, transferring his property worth millions to his wife of 32 years, Lisa Niemi.According to a friend, the move is a part of his final farewell to his wife as the end draws closer. "Patrick told Lisa, 'I will always love you and can't imagine how my life would have been without you'. It was very touching, and it's part of his final farewell to his wife as the end draws closer," The Sun quoted the pal, as saying. The actor had to have an emergency surgery after the cancer spread and part of his stomach was removed

1. Damn.
Never fond of "Dirty Dancing", but married for 32 years -- why do the good ones have to go so young?

9. playing a character...
who showed both that he was unafraid to poke fun at his image (fairly clean-cut) and to take a scary demanding role which was potentially career suicide.

Fear<-------->Love

I'm not a big fan of his movies but the one i like him the best and maybe some of you haven't seen it is "Waking up in Reno" with Billy Bob Thornton.

13. I agree
my Dad

who was a smart man and died in 1982

said the cure for cancer is sitting in a vault somewhere
because it is a money maker
and no one

will stop the money flow...
it makes TO MUCH MONEY

somehow I believe him.....

Its not locked away somewhere...trust me on this..I go to oncological workshops from time to time as a professional.
There is still so much about cancer that no one really understands..so many complex forms....But there is a lot of promising research going on right now. Its possible in the next 10 years that we will see multiple cancer vaccines..so that many people won't even get sick....
Edit: Don't forget I also have a form of cancer...and even the Mayo people could not give me specifics on causes.

23. Sorry, I got agree with that
My wife has been in cancer research for decades. I can't think of a group of people that would be happier to close shop and move on to the next disease than the scientists involved.

18. This is all very sad...this man took part in many of the movies I have grown up with
Outsiders, Red Dawn, Dirty Dancing....and I get the sense that he truly was a good person...

Godspeed Patrick, I wish you the best and hope for a painless, peaceful passing ( this certainly does not sound good right now ).

Want to give a blood transfusion to a fellow wounded GI, then the doctors took a blood test and found he had leukemia.

Rather ironic.

27. Sad.
Stomach cancer is one of the most agressive and lethal types of cancer. It's something you wouldn't want to wish on your worst enemy. Peace to him and his family.
