11. My cousin has a toy poodle
One of the best ever dogs. Smart, loyal and affectionate. When she got her, her husband thought she was a "sissy dog" but she won him over quick and now she is like his baby.

12. it's true about their breed---they are smart, loyal, and affectionate
my mom swears that my dog can speak, but then I think it's empty nest syndrome that's having an effect on her ;-)

16. you're right on that one!
;-) He can read my moods very well, and he knows certain words that we use, like the word "out" "food" "dinner" "Noelle" and "Mom" not to mention other words that we use like "vet" which makes him get all nervous and shakey.

My mom likes to ask him "Where's Noelle?" and he'll look around and go tearing around the apartment looking for me. I love that he's able to recognize words, and he's very friendly and affectionate.

18. I had a sheltie mix who would shake
at the mention of the vet. She didn't like thunderstorms either.

20. when we'd take max to the vet....
his muscles would tense up, and he'd shiver uncontrollably. I had to hold him really close to my chest with my jacket covering him up to calm him down.
